Your blog has been fun to read. I am pre-op and having my RNY surgery in exactly one week (July22). I’m excited, nervous, anxious, a bit scared…you name it. I know I will be fine though. Positive thoughts and that mental picture of myself at 140lbs keep me going. I just get really nervous about the food part and having to learn how to eat all over again. I will continue to follow your blog because its always nice to read the experiences of other people who have gone through the same thing.
Hi,
One week to go … Good for You … I know how you feel. It is a bit scary, changing everything you’ve ever known. And I do mean everything! I still have some food issues. It’s just to weird to figure out what make what happen, so I stopped trying to figure it out and just roll with the punches. Otherwise it would drive me insane.
I’m glad you like my blog. I had hoped it may help in some small way, all those that follow me in to that bazaar Gastric by-pass world. Sometimes the food roulette does get a bit overwhelming, but keeping your eye on the ultimate prize, and we both know what that is ….and a positive attitude will defiantly help
Let me know how your doing from time to time. I really would like to know.
Big Hugs to you,
Suzy

I know, but they can be sooo maddening. It makes you wonder what you've done wrong and or worry that you won't lose any more. I know I'm only 7 months
